2. Foleying the ambient sounds of "The Red Heels"



 Foleying the sound of the tap. 

Next, I focused on creating the sound effects for the bathroom scene, starting with the flowing water. The foley process for this element went smoothly.

However, I was determined to replicate the distinctive sound of the tap closing, inspired by the 2020 film "The Invisible Man" directed by Leigh Whannell. According to an interview, Leslie Bloome, the film's foley artist, achieved this sound by using an old sink and a damp towel. The scene I am talking about.

Unfortunately, I lacked the necessary equipment to recreate this exact sound. Without access to an old sink. I opted for a more straightforward approach, using the sound of my own sink closing. While it didn't perfectly capture the desired effect, it still contributed to the overall ambiance of the scene.
