Sourcing Equipment: The Red Heels
RGB LED light bulb:
To achieve the desired red lighting effect for the shoot, I searched for an RGB LED light bulb. Fortunately, my cousin mentioned that her family had one at their house, and I arranged to borrow it through her mom.
Initially, I planned to pick up the lamp and bulb, but since my cousin was at home, her mom kindly offered to deliver it to me the next day using a delivery service called Bikea. She even informed me of the delivery cost.
However, there was a minor setback: the controller for the bulb was inadvertently left behind. This was crucial, as the controller allowed us to fix the color to red, rather than cycling through colors. To resolve this, my cousin's mom had to deliver the remote control separately, ensuring we had everything needed for the shoot.
The Gimbal:
Initially, I had planned to borrow filmmaking equipment from my teacher, but unfortunately, he informed me that his gear was malfunctioning.
I then reached out to my friend Laraib, who graciously offered to lend me her equipment. She had recently purchased a Zhiyun Smooth Q3 gimbal for her own project and was willing to let me use it, provided our shoot dates didn't conflict with hers.
Laraib also provided a helpful tutorial on how to use the gimbal, which requires a companion app to operate. Her guidance was invaluable, and I appreciated her willingness to share her expertise and equipment with me.
