Location Research: The Red Heels

For location planning, I took on the task of finding the ideal setting for the apartment and bathroom scenes. Since I didn't have access to an apartment, I decided to get creative. I planned to film only the hallway of an apartment building for the opening shot, where Cynthia walks through, creating the illusion of her entering an apartment complex.

For the bathroom scene, I reached out to my friend Maryam, who had a spacious bathroom that would be perfect for filming. I asked her to send a video of the space, and after reviewing it with my teammates, we gave it our approval. The video.

Khadeeja took charge of securing the apartment complex location. Her mom had connections with relatives living in a complex, and we decided to utilize their hallways. To ensure a smooth shoot, we obtained permission from the receptionist in advance.

As a precaution, Khadeeja requested photos of the hallway, which we reviewed and approved. With both the bathroom and apartment complex locations secured, we were confident that our filming locations would meet our needs. 

Initially, we planned to film the final shots at the entryway of Maryam's house. However, my teammates expressed concerns about the travel time and the tight schedule, emphasizing the importance of filming the last shot during daylight.

To address this, we decided to change the location of Pandora's house to the entryway of my teammate Layla's residence. I requested her to send a photo of the entrance, and after reviewing it, we gave our approval.
