Practicing Cinematic Lighting.
Today I practiced lighting on a decoration piece. Making sure to incorporate the lighting elements I learned.
I used three sources of Lights one flashlight that I placed behind a plant and slowly moved it in video which casted shadows of the plant on the subject that is a motor bike creating interesting textures. The reason I moved the light was to mimic the head lights of a car passing by to create some narrative.
The second light source I used were the candles in the background to add depth and divert attention also to add texture towards the end of the video when I blow them out.
The third source was the LED light of the living room. However, I made the mistake of lowering the exposer too much so it's effect cannot be seen in the video. At last, I removed the flashlight trying to mimic closing of stutters in a car showroom.
The results.
