Lighting and Exposure Practice with Sir.

 

Today Sir bought in Studio lights and tasked us to take pictures in different directions of lighting. While experimenting with the Apurture, shutter speed and ISO. That Sir taught us how to use though a Canon camera simulator linked here. 

Making sure to shoot from the shadow side. The lighting created a creepy thriller vibe in the classroom that it started resembling a interrogation room. The split lighting and harsh shadows made the subject seem un trustworthy. The background was dark however depth was created though the subject's light coloured Shirt. Making it cinematic. My best shot of Subject 1 :

 

And a shot of subject 2. This is a low angle shot using harsher lighting then the previous. The lighting is place above the subject creating thoes harsh shadows. The subject's smile giving it an even more eerie feel.
